Seems a good buy for us that use dsm2, yes they are only short range receivers but the reviews speak for themselves. For that price heck I ordered 3, I'll run a few tests on range etc and post my results here.
If I get one out of the three working ok I'll still be under the normal price for these rx's
They seem to be based around the 6200 according to reviews if that's the case these are a steal for the price.

DSM2 Compatible 6Ch 2.4Ghz Receiver
[406860] £9.95

**** Now in Stock - really !!*****

***Please note - best to order on line rather than on phone as it is more likley to get priority we have stock at the moment***

We now stock this Dsm2 compatible receiver with all Spektrum DSM2 aircraft transmitters. These receivers mimic the receiving signal decoding of Dsm2. As such that are not copies of the original receivers but are compatible and work with Spektrum transmitters.

Specifications

Light weight. 4.2g ex.case 9.6 grams with case.
Compatible with DSM2 aircraft radio and module systems.
6 Channels.
Size 19.5x30x10 mm - with case 43x22x13mm.
Short 29mm antennas for mounting in almost any location.
Input voltage: 3.7~9.6V.
Satellite port for external second Rx.

An important note - This is not a Spektrum receiver or design copy.

These receivers are not suported due to software not being from the original Dsm manufatures and unlike the old 35mhz receivers that did not have to decode a signal and any Tx/Rx combo would work . If you use these receivers you should be aware of this and have the ablity to test and see if your setup is sound. Any purchase should be with the understanding that warranty on this item is limited to you testing and either accepting or returning the item within 3 days.

We recomend this receiver for use in Indoor, Parkfly , Small Helicopters . For more demanding requirements we strongly recommend original Spektrum Ar500 or higher spec receivers .

Tried and tested the three rx's I received and on ground tests i can actually outpace my ar6100e's, they all work fine and bind was fast and easy, if they continue to run as they do these are a bargain. I did use the template Jeff and your hard pushed to see the difference with these and the originals. Newbies would not have a clue hence all the fakes running around for sale so buyer beware.
