Seems ok to me jeff on the hotwire setup beware of the fumes though m8 there not good for you.

Dont forget to sand your outer sections on the p51 so they taper down to nothing on the rear section as its a pain to do when its all fitted and glued up.

dihedral was tiny jeff so i left it out ( handles better anyway imo) i use the hotwire
in the shop and i have the door open for ventilation it does create alot of smoke if you have the heat high. It should be fine to use in the kitchen as long as you have the door open.

I added a 4 mm spar across the wing and it does need it jeff. I added a 3mm to the elevator too.

Looking good jeff, dont put to much effort into the internal cuts in future as you wont see them anyway when the outer sections are on.
what spar did you go with or is this just a dry fit ?

Easy one jeff, download an image of the p51 for cut line and fit the extra servo on the opposite side of the elevator servo

Towards the front slightly so as not to kill the cg to much.

well its almost done. i had enough done to give it its maiden, so thanks to Paul for testing it and then giving me the controls once it was flying ok its a keeper. plenty of power and rolls loops were great and slow flying was easy also.flight times i reckon will be about 10min so pretty good. build number 3 under my belt. Smile
