F15 100mph+

This is the new version of my old F15. Much more slippier, all control linkages are hidden and control surfaces are all plywood, no cockpit either, just flatness. Also my second scratch build



It will run on a 3s 2200 mah, at around 45-50amps (gives about 3 minutes flight time)

the last one died when I put a nano-tech battery in, which took it way beyond its limit and tore the elevator off. This one should be a lot stronger and slippier hopefully it should go fast

you sure this is your second scratch build. you did not waste any time. looks good SAM up to this point.

The problem with the f-15 is that the intakes make it very draggy if you leave them off and keep it as flat and smooth as possible then you might achieve that speed, building a mirage/delta and putting in some decent electronics would be easier.

jeff I actually started it months ago but got stuck on the elevator lol

scouse yeah the old one had air intakes, this one won't. The old one achieved ~120mph with the intakes and a proper canopy

this is a woody keith

its been too windy to test the polaris

Anyway, had to extend the nose to get the balance right. Also fed the extended motor wires through the fus and will need to get another 80a ESC from ebay. Not much cooling so it needs to be beefy



Also going to reuse one rudder from the old plane
