PostSubject: HobbyKing $36 450 heli   Sun Nov 14, 2010 11:05 am

Flew this in my back garden today Very Happy
Very enteretaining. A good gust of wind either way and the fence seems to be very close. Then there was the pond and the trampoline which tried to get in the way as well Wink .

Anyway, its one of the niceset helis I have flown. Really quite smooth. It has built been as cheap as possible. Apart from the full metal airframe at $36 it also has $2.78 servos and a $6 gyro. Speed controller is a really nice one ($24) with heat sinks built in on both sides (I thought this would be good for removing heat whilst just hovering). The receiver is the most expesnive part as I have temporarilly pinched a Spektrum AR7000 off one of my aeroplanes.
