Windy day flight Empty
PostSubject: Windy day flight   Windy day flight EmptyMon Jan 30, 2012 4:28 am

Came across this video and to be honest I'd forgotton about it, the story behind is that I'd always avoided high winds (as you would) and i was told to add a gyro to the axn and it would fly in anything, I gave it a try only I did not expect the winds being that high on the day.
I really did struggle to get the plane in the air as you'll see for yourself in this clip. For those that know me you'll know I still have the Axn and it still flys today without incident.

We checked the local weather when I returned home to find it was 40-50 mph winds its anyones guess what it was gusting to.
