We were thinking of using the supernova as a glider tow a few years ago, could probably do 5 at a time lol. When you give it a go I'll bring the camera and the keycam too.

thats nice SAM i take it you have this. fibreglass that will be some weight.will find some thing of similar weight and see if the plane will pull it along the floor and get back to you

from my sums it should pull it no problem if you are saying 1.5kg as my mentor is nearly 2kg and will pull that all day long id say.

Well done Jeff look forward to giving it a try. As for towline I used bricklayers nylon line and it works well.

the idea of the tail brace to keep the line away from the rudder is a good one

might be some thing i may do if it snags on the rudder or elevator. will stop the foam getting bruised too. for first attempt just going to put some fibreglass weave tape on for now.
