hello to all members i just joined the club forum today.Ive been to the field a few times but not a member yet ive been flying for about 2 year now.
I own a 450 trex clone,500 trex clone and a swift wing,im currently in the processe of building a mutiplex funcub will be taking some pictures of the build also a small right up of the build processe.
i came up with this list of parts from reading throught the threads on the funcub at rc groups.

motor,turnigy sk3530-1100
prop,12x3.8
esc,40A emax
battery,lippo 3cell 2200 25c
2 aileron,turnigy tgy-90s
2 flaps,hextronic hxt900 9gr/with y splitter
1 rudder, hitec hs81
1 elevator hitec hs81
receiver, AR6200
Any comments welcome hope to become full member of flying club and see you all on the field Very Happy

hi melvin the turnigy 3530 motor is 300+ watt motor seems to be a bit over powered for a model like the funcub. Doesn't it come with a stock motor.Iam not really familiar with the model i think harvey has one you could message him i dont think he would mind ps welcome.

theres a power kit for these funcubs it use the Himax C 3516-0840 runing 350 watt with a 13.4 prop.
I read a few post on another site and found people using these motors im using now,so hopfully it may work out ok

That's the one paul, I've know melvin around 20 years now he brought the kit to mine a few weeks ago its a very floaty plane for its size and can be setup as a good trainer if done right.
Good thing about those wheels is it will take off on all surfaces, youtube it you'll be surprised.

dont forget to get the right glue mel(zacki elapor orange top)cos nothing else will stick elapor.
