my next build is also the polaris

thanks for the video jeff. thanks keith & yes it was a 2200 battery & on the maiden i only had to give it some up elevator but i can sort that by moving the battery,it was a bit windy harvey had a anonemeter & it read gusts of up to 18mph,next build?

well had a few days of no building, but got on with it today and got this far. have the bits i need from cod as well.

as it will take off from the ground i my well maiden it myself.

yes sam this time of year its empty.

it depends how full it is sam,if it is full we go to the back field,as you come in go to the right & follow the road round theres a big overflow field just look for mine & jeffs car,we will be there about 2ish

so 2pm then i did not no we had decided on a time Pete, but 2 is fine

well im going to have to pull my finger out to get this ready for sunday.

Be carefull on the aileron rudder conrol rods jeff, I built my first polaris with the rods on top and the motor under power tilted forward and the prop shreaded the rods.
Look at the 120 I built, the rods are under the fuse looks like yours could be switched easy before you go any further.
I think pete put his under the fuse too?

Your control horns need to be moved further forward to jeff you want the control horn hole you connect the rod through to sit right on the hinge line for better and even throws.

yer im awere of the prop and the rods. the aileron are well clear but the rudder has about inch Clarence.will keep a eye on it. I'm to far gone as iv got it up and running across the floor.

i built mine with the torque rods keith as per plans totally hidden,a bit tight at the back of the fuse but i managed.

im off to whitby now for goth week & classic car show & im sneeking the polaris in the boot & looking for some water to fly off
