Took the Easystar out for a FPV flight over Yeaby Bank yesterday.
Eventfull it was ! lol
After launch it became apparent just milliseconds in there was something wrong, it wouldn`t stop rolling hard to the right. After a quick save and loads of trim added on aileron and rudder i decided to ride it through. Did a few speed runs. Tested out my 360 degree camera pan and this time got the footage off the Gopro. I had assigned a mix to the pan servo and forgot to set my dual rates back up. Realised again once i was in the air
The rolling i now realsed was down to the new taped wings, i had taped one wing with much more of a curve than the other but at the time didnt realise.
Youtube kept crashing for upload. So i uploaded to vimeo instead, hense there i no annotations that are supposed to be in there. The clip of the on screen display and what i could see through the goggles got screwed up in upload and doesnt do it justice. What was bad though was the light levels, i just couldn`t see very well as i gained height, the gopro screen dulled down that much.
