| So far so good 35" wingspan 21" long To run on 1000mah lipo and will take anything from 7 to 11 inch prop it depends on how you want it to fly I've opted for the bigger prop with the 1000kv motor setup for mid range performance. If your curious here's a build picture - Spoiler:

| Hanger rash lol its only a few days old, did you notice the balsa leading edge? This sucker is overbuilt as I'm hoping to use it as a trainer plane for other pilots to test there skills on. The booms are twice the recommended spec but now being a full fuse it will offset the extra weight in the back and should still give me a good setup regarding cog.

p.s it needs Rudders I knew someone would say that cheers buddy I did look at the rudder option for trainees but then discarded the idea... why? It's a tight build to get it flying as it is, as there is little room in the canopy area to get all I need in there. Overall answer My brain hurts | |

| Plans are sat here waiting for anyone who wants them, the standard build is easy I reckon you could complete this plane in 2 hours max.

| Ian I'm trying to build something you wont break Don't see it as a challenge but more of a compliment to my building skills. You can maiden it for me I'm that confident? Its built like a tank I just need to add a little more Armour Btw I'm rewinding the old axn motor for this one but doubling the copper to give a better torque and lower the kv, do you still have yours? | |

| Maidened the Funder today at the club and I could not have asked for a better maiden tbh, It flew straight and true with no trim needed at all.The speed was impressive considering the wind was up around 15mph with 20mph gusts. Overall Its a cracking little plane to fly and perfect as a trainer plane. I passed the controls to daz and he gave it a few laps around the site he agreed its a cracker to fly, this thing lands perfect having such a deep canopy it just slides over the wet ground with ease. One happy Flier and this one is a keeper for sure, It will be my fun plane from now on. I ended up putting 5 lipos through it. The finished build Well until I build a new one. | |

| Yeh ive got to agree with ya there m8 it put a smile on my face and lets face it after my first flight that was a big ask but cheers for the stick time on this little pearler. Just for the record I do fancy building a plane at some point maybe this simple but effective design could be the start of things to come, I also want to get Kian (my son) flying soon and maybe this could be one he could buddy up on. Just an idea m8 but we could start a class for these little gems and get everybody into them, very quick and aerobatic makes for a load of fun. Paul I know your reading this, lets see ya build one, you will love it m8. Also a big thanks to Justin for giving me some assistance in landing my extra after I didnt feel I could get it down in one piece. It was handling like a pig, I managed to keep it in the air but didnt want to risk a landing because of the way it was handling. Once on the ground some adjustments were made and she flew straight and true, oh and inverted some times aswell, landed safely this time and took her home in one piece. BIG thanks to Keith and Justin for their assistance today, im sure I would have been ordering some uhu por when I got back. Thanks again guys. | |
