Im looking for build ideas if anyone has any, apart from the obvious.
This is going to be built on a cut and go oh heck glue that bit back on we needed it basis as the plans for this have been made rather larger than the original, but for all those who know me will know i like to do things the hard way.
Geoff will tell you the problems he had try to scale his to 30", this little baby's wingspan is going to 48".
I plan to be as detailed as possible without giving to much away as i may look STUPID later if i do.
So come on guys lets have your build thoughts.
cheers

gonna stick with the 2200 3 cell for now. i run my extra on these and that gets some stick, im hopeing she will weigh roughly the same so i should be good with a similar setup.

You should make it slower, you can buy some small devices which go between the servo and receiver to limit the speed of the servo.

was thinking of the speed as you say it should be slower to make it look more scale. I think this can be done via the controller. Does anyone know if this can be done with a DX7

You cant but you can get a slowdown unit from HK , not very important to make scale gear though lol

cheers bud, still trying to figure out the location of them but this was never going to be an easy build. Ive compromised on the wing design dont really want to have to make anymore compromises to ideas i have.

I plan to put a bit of dihederal (if thats how you spell it) in the wing. anyone any ideas as to the best way to do it. I have plenty of carbon spars to strengthen th ewing if needed.
Also the wing will be joined in the middle as the depron wasnt big enough to get a full wing cut.
