| Cut the covering off round the wound then pulled all the balsa would back up carefully with the knife and glued it back together. Then used filler to make it smooth and sanded it. Dad just covered it with solar film and you can barely notice it | |

| So it only took out the leading edge balsa then, you were lucky m8, shame I cant say the same for the windsock | |

| Lol the leading edge has some dense balsa wood running all the way along, it's really strong. Compared to my new "light edge" from hobbyking its like a flying brick | |

| Yes that's the new HK one and it's really light, only running on a 3s 2200. My big one has 6s 5000mAh powering it and still flies for twice as long | |

| The smaller one has less wing loading so potentially could fly longer with a bigger battery but I went for 3D so kept it light | |
