Well its about time I added a build here as its been sometime since i built a foamie Looking around the net a few weeks ago and I spotted this one over on RCG, I've looked at the multiplex twinstar many times and even placed the odd bid or two on the bay. After watching a few of the members fly their twinstars down the club and listening to the twin motors purr along I've looked at the twin motor setup for sometime but never really done anything major untill now. The motor Kv setup I'm looking to use will probably be in the 1200\1450 mark with standard 18 amp esc's, the build offers a motor differential setup that I've not really seen before, being new to the dual setup this is something I'm looking to put in the build I have now. The plans do offer various sizes and I opted for the full size build ( if your gonna build it build it big) The fuse length comes in at 41 inches excluding the elevator setup elevator comes in at 21 inches across and the fuse stands at 8 inches tall excluding landing gear. Wingspan should come in around the 58 inch mark with a slighty undercambered wing design. Its certainly the biggest plane I've built to date and looks like it will carry a fair bit of extra weight possibly a small glider ( cue paul ) uhu por to give idea of scale Lots of space inside No problems with elevator Working cargo bay door ( what should i drop) Plenty of room inside the cargo bay Thanks for looking guys and leave your ideas for a paint scheme i was thinking of a possible camo paint job??????

Sticky lol I've extended the spar so I'm covered in GG, @ jeff yes I still have plenty of depron left i aint a machine m8 @pete its all 6mm depron pete and you'll be suprised how easy this thing goes together the wing is undercambered with a few depron spars to hold the shape its as simple as it gets.

Thanks for the comments, your right jeff it is a nice looking plane and it has lots of room to position the electrics. I've finished up the elevator and added the carbon spar to give it all the strength it needs (6mm rod) its a little overboard but hey I build with what i have to hand at the time I think I'll scrapthe camo idea and go back to tape for this one as it does deserve that extra bit of protection.

Way ahead on that one jeff I've got a small flying wing in the shop, with a few modifications i reckon it will fit in there or on the top. Paul still has his little fox glider too that should get airbourne quite easy with this one.
