For those that are looking for a little speed, I'm currently building a little 20" wingspan funjet to buzz around the site Auw should come in at 9 ozs Motor 2800kv with 4.75x4.75 prop Esc 30 amp servos x2 6g I will be modifying the original design to incorporate a laminated canopy so i can get a little more shape into this area, I also intend to reinforce the box fuse corners which will also give me more material to sand more profile into the boxed fusealage. The build so far has been extremely easy to do and I don't see any immediate faults with the design but only time will tell.

I have redesigned the cockpit and nose section to give me more of a jet like front end, Laminated 7 sections to get the canopy roughed out and with a light bit of sanding I came up with this for the front view. The nose and fuselage have extra depron fitted on the inside as this will allow me to remove more material on the external to round the fuse and it will still keep its strength. This is still at the dry fit stage as I have to pick up the carbon spar sometime this week.

Jeff thanks for the words Its good to hear feedback like that I know I have said this before but building these planes is real easy to do I wish I had white depron as the black will be a pain to get colour onto that body. I work in Stockton most days I take it you use Simon for all your local spares I do when i want something quick like a carbon spar

| I'm not going to push the speed angle on this one as I'm only using 2 cell lipos, who knows I might switch out the motor after testing and shoot for the magic numbers.

Carbon spar 3mm £4.99 from local lhs Kiddies Kite from the local pound shop with carbon and fiberglass spars £1.00 each, its a no brainer really but a good tip if your looking to start a scratch build.

Quick update on the build, Spars are epoxied into place (3 in total) it certainly stiffens up the wing. The electronics should be here tomorrow then the body can be fitted out and glued up, that's when the shaping starts, it will turn this bird into a little beauty.
