I fitted my servo upside down for ailerons this way the controls are under the wing leaving a much cleaner look to the build. Its easier to tbh.

good find, will watch them after i have cut the parts out

so its all cut out and time to start on the shopping list on what i need for the build.

Jeff mines well on the way now bud, just weighed it without lipo and it comes in a 18.2 ozs not bad for the 120% build considering they usually come in at 30oz+.

Keith should i get a high tork metal gear servo for the ailerons

I used mg servos all round jeff you actually only need mg servo on the rudder, look at the plane the rudder usually contacts the ground first on landing so its only needed there.
I also added a V bend before linking to the horn on mine to add a bit of suspension between the servo and the rudder.
I'll take a pic and put it up to show you what i mean.

well the build is slowly making progress but out side forces keep stopping me.
