This might help you out jeff on the build, typical i found this when mines together.
http://www.how2rc.com/Polaris%20Build.html

I fitted my servo upside down for ailerons this way the controls are under the wing leaving a much cleaner look to the build. Its easier to tbh.

Jeff mines well on the way now bud, just weighed it without lipo and it comes in a 18.2 ozs not bad for the 120% build considering they usually come in at 30oz+.

I used mg servos all round jeff you actually only need mg servo on the rudder, look at the plane the rudder usually contacts the ground first on landing so its only needed there.
I also added a V bend before linking to the horn on mine to add a bit of suspension between the servo and the rudder.
I'll take a pic and put it up to show you what i mean.

Very impressed pete, How did you find the handling of the polaris as it looks like you set the throws spot on.
Nice to see the wind it can handle as mines only ever gone out in snow and wet conditions with little or no wind. Congrats on the build pete, the question is whats next?
