still wanna see the dr fly SAM i bet you can get it licking across the sky with right motor/power combo.

The main problem is getting the battery and esc to fit in the fuselage. If its possible to get it on 4s it would go fast.

the rare bear runs on nanotec 850 4s they are small.

well my plane is almost here but its being held at customs.
so this means £22 bill slapped on it.
hope its worth the new total price of £88

well got my plane and put it together today. the internal structure had to be all removed as the lipo was supposed to be fastened to a curved floor so that was never going to stay secured .so made the internals flat.
cg was tail heavy so had to rearrange every thing.

will do a watt test soon

yes mate should be ok on the 3cell or 4cell if you want to try it.you can size the 4cell in the dragon red. but from memory i think the plane is to small.

well it got its maiden today, not bye me left it to SAM to do the honers.
so flight report is simple...........bloody good and on 3cell 850mha its fast for its size and got a good 5mins of flying but could reset the timer for 6 or 7 mins.ample power it can hang on the prop at a little over half power,bye holding the tip of the wing.
loops are as big as you want and rolls fast and only little on the barrel side.
SAM recommend not to put the 4s in as its nose heavy with the 3cell in.
so more rearranging to do. 4cell is going to be well mental.
no video as the sky was very gray and no zoom so would of been a waste of time.

SAM flying the hk rare bear on Sunday. did seem a tad slow on Sunday but the plane and lipo had been sat in a cold box for 3 hours. still shifts.

well Paul had a go fly with the rare bear on a 3cell and then the first to stick a 4cell in.
the thing goes like stink its up there with the funjet speed. too fast for me as well at the min lol.think i will build up to the 4cell setup.

just done a watt test and think i do not need to worry about the esc going pop like some have stated on rcg.

20amp esc with i believe a 5x5 prop

850 3cell pulls 183w@ 16amps
1000 3cell pulls 176w@15 amps surprised by this, thought it would do better
850 4cell pulls 260w@20 amps

so Pete when yours arrives i would not worry to much.
just for extra piece of mind fit a bec in to it.
