| Cheers, the top will probably be balsa wood too and then covered in film. It was inspired by the iphone one | |

| I should have checked in here yesterday as i was offered a full wii board with acc (autolevel) baro(altitude hold) Mag (heading hold) for £50 built and working running 1.8 software.
You'll love the quad jeff, Looking at the esc's above 18 amp are more than enough on a quad with those motors if you already own them. | |

| Jeff the wii system is not difficult to understand m8 beleive me, there are guys on the multiwii forums that should not be allowed to fly these machines let alone build them. Its a basic setup with around 5 adjustments to make to get the model working the rest is tinkering with the settings to dial it in to however you want it. The extra features are there as a nice to have in the future, you dont need to get them working straight away. | |

| You also need 1meter of 16mm diameter aluminium tube from B&Q. If you cut it into 3 pieces of 508mm, 246mm and 246mm and then butt the 2 smaller ones up against the long one (in a cross shape), the arms will the same length. | |

| Nope, that is the lengths for a quad. One long one, that runs right across the middle (so forms 2 of the arms)...and 2 short ones that butt up against the long one at its mid point, to make the 2 shorter arms. | |

| I did a half lap joint on my quad andy, when you add the base plate it pulls it all together very tight and a perfect 90 degrees to each other. | |

| Is it possible that all motors turn in the same direction without the whole thing "torque" turning? I'm thinking about EDFs. Anyone ever used them instead of motor/props? | |
