FMS Mustang with Merlin Engine Sound system

Hi Guys,
Just a little bit of info for you all. Paul L has been messing with my FMS Mustang and fitted a sound system to it. He has used an old PC speaker which we mounted in what would be the intercooler on the full size, an amplifier and MP3 player inside the fuz, he recorded a full size Mustang with the Packard Merlin engine, WOW!!.... with it on full volume it sounds awesome, really hoping we can get some good weather this week end so we can try it out at Kirky.
Tried it out last night in the house and the petticoat government went spare cos corrie was on, bless her forgot to give her the ear plugs.
Anyway heres hoping it goes well, see you all soon.

sounds interesting idea.is the stang a fms mk1 or later as there was a few mods that needed doing.mine is the mk2.and until about mk4 things were all sorted.

thanks for the reply, I'm not sure what Mk this one is from FMS but maybe a clue is the retracts. All wheels retract including the tail wheel, and it also has working factory fitted flaps.

the very early mk1 had retractable tale wheel and servo retracts than they did a kinder mk1.1 and removed the retract side of the tail.my mk2 has fixed tail retract but the new servoless retracts.so if yours is servoless retracts with retractable tale wheel then id say its the new mk6 and all the problems with the earlier ones sorted.
the retracts are the key to which one you have.my dad has a mk1.1 and the elevator servo is to small and they would strip the gears in flight and the esc bec was at its limit.the wings did not have carbon rods all the way to the wing tips so flexed to a scary shape in a fast dive.
so if its a mk6 don't worry fms are on the ball with it.
landing gear rake was a problem with nose over and on the mk6 they have been moved forward of the leading edge of the wing to help stop this.
one mod i have done is open up the chin scoop to get some air in to it.then i used a exit vent from the pkz habo and fitted it to the underside of the belly.
