| Well went for the maiden today but it did,nt go well i had serious problems with my 2.4ghz module, this was brought about by serious amounts of moisture. This could be linked to keiths topic where do u store your planes,i store mine in the garage unfortunately the garage also has a dryer in it even though time after time i explain the door must be open and the dryer hose must be outside do they listen no", anyway i,ve been working for the last three days and i havent had time to check the garage, so this morning i got up to a perfect day for a maiden went to the garage and it was dripping wet?.Well i made a big mistake i had been using my tx and left it in the box with the lid up hence it must have got wet even though i check it out and it seemed fine but the moisture must have got in side. Anyway after checking everything things seemed fine so i decided what the hell lets go for it, got to the field and it was perfect conditions done all the check on the control surfaces all correct so i went for it, off she went loads of power rotated lovely and of she went for about 30 ft i pulled her up to get a bit of height and all hell broke loose no control nothing she went up into a loop it did 3 and in the end she came down on her belly. hell i was lucky it was,nt nose first. ] [/img] ] [/img] luckily the main spares are fine but the undergarriage ripped out seems bad but i have repaired worse the fw190s wing was in two ] [/img] the fuz is fine just a little bit of damage i know ive been very lucky and i,am kicking my self i forgot the basics ALWAYS DO A RANGE CHECK well she will fly again this time no chances cheers.[img[img[img

| I know just how you feel buddy its happened to me once or twice, The thrill of the maiden clouds your view and its always the basics that bite you. No doubt the repairs will be a top job and she'll be back in the air in no time.
