52 Inch flying wing

Maidened the wing today at the club with a little help from paul and justin (cheers guys), I'm pleased to report all went as planned with an almost perfect build right off the table to a good flying wing.
at 52 inches across it runs a 1790kv motor on a 7x5 apc prop, this pulls around 325 watts using 27 amps on full throttle.
The wing glides around on 1/4 throttle and only using 5 amps to do so.

Very happy with this one.

added 4oz of lead to front of mine keith & it flies ok now,not very fast though & battery gets very hot even with 60amp esc.

Its not depron scouse I finally made a hotwire so its made of eps, I know its not the strongest but with the reinforcing this one has it takes a beating and comes back for more.
New templates are cut out for the bad boy wing, this is gonna dwarf the one above

Choice of foam is not that important really , yeah epo and epp are stronger and glue better but they are also slightly heavier and cause problems with tape , eps is a good choice for a combat wing because its cheap pretty strong with a little help and its easier to get hold of.

** what was the problem with the above wing ? a 60 amp esc seems seriously excessive for a clean combat wing it should fly perfectly fine on an emax 2812 or similar ( read the titan thread http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1121604&page=2 )
